No Nonsense Neutering Program

The city of Hazleton is partnering with No Nonsense Neutering (NNN) to start a Trap Neuter Return (TNR) cat control program and will be offering FREE TNR vouchers for free roaming community/feral cats. This program is for feral (wild) cats and strays, NO PETS.
NNN is a same day surgery clinic by appointment only and the closest location is 10 Gallagher Drive, Plains, PA.
To participate:
- You must live in the city of Hazleton
- To obtain vouchers, a resident must get appointment/s first. Scheduling is online only www.nnnlv.org. To obtain your voucher, you will need to come to Hazleton City Hall, 40 North Church Street, Hazleton, Eileen Matenkoski, City Clerk’s office, 2nd Floor. - Come to city office with proof of residence and your appointment date/s to get voucher/s.
- Cats MUST come to the clinic in a humane sized adult trap. Dog crates, carriers or “squirrel/kitten” traps are not accepted. NO exceptions for friendly strays. ALL cats will be left ear tipped. Cats receive a rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine if younger than 1 year old, flea, worming and ear mite treatments, fluids and long-acting pain medicine.
- Loaner traps are available at NNN clinic or a limited number may be available through the city . Traps are available 1 week BEFORE your surgery date.
